Aromas of dried cherries, violets, and caramel on the nose.
Flavors of blackberry, toasted oak, allspice and ripe cherry linger on the palate. Full-bodied and smooth, this Primitivo is a great pairing for anything Italian.
Winemaker Notes
Harvested in mid-September, this Primitivo is located on 1 acre of land just behind the tasting room. Planted in 2008, our headtrained vineyard is able to absorb sunlight with enough foliage to protect the grapes. Fermented in American oak for 6 months, this wine offers a marvelous boutique of violets and ripe cherry with a big, bold mouthfeel that leaves you wanting more.
