Vineyard Notes
Planted in 2018, this Verdelho is most well-known as a Portuguese grape varietal that is often not planted elsewhere in the world. Grown in rocky clay loam soil at the entrance of Belledor, this Verdelho is a very vigorous vine, producing large grape clusters that taste of apricot. 2021 was an exceptional year for our first vintage of Verdelho, producing 1 ton of grapes from this baby vineyard.
